We first completely clean the headlights for any residue such as dirt, sap, bird poop, etc.
We then proceeded to sand an 800 grit sandpaper. Doing so removes most of the oxidized parts of your headlights and lens.
After most of the oxidation is gone we move into heavier sandpaper, which is 1,500 grit. Transparency is then starting to be noticeable after a couple of passes.
Then we proceed to step up the sandpaper to 2,500 grit.
Finally the last step to the clarity of your headlights. Headlights are sand with 3,000 grit.
A polisher polishes the headlights. To remove the scratches.
