Professional Ceramic Coating Installer In Los Angeles

What Is Ceramic Coating?

I'm pretty sure you have had a moment in life where you have gone to an auto part, a detailing, store, or hey even Walmart, and seen all these waxes and sealants on a shelf. With promises to your vehicle with protection from external elements such as rain, bird poop, dirt, etc?

Fast forward to today, technology has advanced so much and new things have come into the market. Thanks to scientists, and so much work in the lab they have made a new product that produces the best absolute protection for your vehicle called ceramic coating.

This isn't your typical wax paste or spray wax that adds a layer of protection for a couple of days or months. The ceramic coating comes in a liquid form in bottle size, that bonds to your vehicle surface. The coating is mostly referred to as the satirical layer, meaning that it absorbs every type of weather element like rain, dirt, and snow to provide protection underneath your paint.

Ceramic coating is pretty much like the scene in the captain of America, where he goes into the chamber, weak, vulnerable, and then boom he comes out as a super soldier. Okay so this was the ceramic coating that will do to your vehicle paint once we are done, it will be built and coated differently.

The Gain of Ceramic Coating

The Gain of Ceramic Coating

A lot of ceramic coating companies have their own personal claims and opinions on what the product can do. I personally dont agree with all of them, but there is some truth to it, I like to keep thighs honest and dont like to upsell products that dont deliver what they said to do.

So these are the actual benefits you actually get with ceramic coating:

Provides the most known protection to your paint, which can last 3-9 years.

  • The coating is only needed to be applied once (Not like your typical waxes, every 3 months)

  • Wahses won't be necessary as much, since it keeps your car cleaner

  • Cost-effective and time effective

  • Creates

Before adding the coating protection, your vehicle has to go through our paint correction service. If the ceramic coating is applied without the proper procedures, your vehicle paint won't get the full potential benefits of the ceramic coating.

That's what we mean by professional ceramic coating installers. If the coating is not installed correctly, you will see all the imperfections such as smudge across the vehicle.

The terminology we use in the detailing world is called high spots. This means the coating was not applied properly and was left too long to dry without wiping.

Just a quick fun fact, the longer the coating is designed to last on your vehicle, for example, a 1 year versus a 9 year is harder to install. The message here is that the weather plays a big major role when it comes to the installation of the coating.

True and Fales Of Ceramic Coating

The coating is designed to last longer and is built to withstand weather climates, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and think the coating will protect it.

Just like anything coating does have its limitations, and it's good to educate yourself about a coating to know how to treat your coating. We have had customers who get the service in the past, but then a couple of months or years down the line, they have swirls and scratches.

Myth #1 Ceramic Coating Are Scratch Proof

Ceramic coating is durable and strong enough to protect your paint against minor scratches and sometimes minor incidents. The coating is also designed to protect your vehicle paint from swirls and scratches.

That being said ceramic coating is incredibly thin and therefore can absorb an impact of a rock hitting your car or even someone keying your car.

Myth #2 Ceramic Coating Dont Require Maintenance

Throughout the years we have seen customers and people who believe since they got the coating that they won't need a wash or maintained their vehicle. While the coating does make the wash significantly easier and quicker, dirt and debris will build up if not washed.

Now, what this means, is that you won't need to wash your vehicle often, making it easier and less hassle-free.

Myth #3 Ceramic Coating Will Last Forever

The ceramic coating is a substitute bland of a gel coat and will cure onto your paint like a hard rock shell. The results mean your ceramic coating will last for years.

If the coating is properly installed, then reapplying will only need to be done every few years. So even if the coating is not permanent, it will definitely be very lasting and provide protection for your vehicle.

You have to properly wash and maintain your vehicle. We have had customers have a 6-year ceramic coating applied to their vehicle, and started to break down in 3 years. This is due to a lack of maintenance, so commit to it. Your vehicle is a big investment, keep that investment strong.
